The pictures are exquisite. There is a quote or saying in small print that does not overwhelm the picture, and the moon phases are also shown. The paper is also glossy and good quality. There is a four-month 2018 calendar on the inside front cover with a beautiful picture. This calendar is not at the beginning of search results, and even though it is a little more expensive it is worth it. I also ordered two more for gifts :-)
