I looooove this book and would recommend it to anyone who can get their hands on it. There are innumerable ways you can put a piece of music together, allowing you to know whether or not a student can truly sight-read with this book.I would recommend that you don't allow the student to have access to it outside the lesson, but it will definitely give you the ability to see how well they can overcome certain performances challenges on the piano.I wish they continued the concept with more difficult music and allowed it to be a stable in the pedagogical canon.
